How to Migrate a Database from one user account another


Please follow the steps below to enable the Copy Database option: 

  1. Login to Zoho Reports. 
  2. Open the database which you want to be copied to the other account.
  3. Open a table in the database and share it to the recipient email id.
  4. Now open another tab in the same browser and click this URL: http://reports.zoho.com/userfixes/AllowCopyDB.jsp
  5. Provide the database name to be copied and click theEnableCopyDB button.

This will allow (all) your shared users, to access any of the table/reports shared with them, using the link Copy this Databasein the right corner of the toolbar.
Clicking on that link will copy the shared database with all the tables and reports in it (irrespective of the objects shared with the user) to the shared user's account.

You can follow the steps above for all the databases to be copied across different accounts. We recommend that you disable this option as soon as the database is copied, by returning to the previous URL and click on the button DisableCopyDB for the enabled databases by logging into the database owner's account). Please note that keeping it in enabled state will allow any of your shared users of the databases to copy the database. So please disable once you have copied into your new account.
